JR. PICKELBALL Leagues - Program Overview:
Thank you for your interest in OUR Jr. Pickleball Leagues!
Our RECREATIONAL Leagues are a great way to keep your kids busy and active while developing their pickleball skills in a fun and safe environment.
2026 SEASON
LEAGUE DATES:
March 28, 2026 - May 9, 2026 (7-8 week season)
AGE GROUPS:
Jr. Pickleball is an grade-based organization; players play in their designated school grade.
We do allow participants to 'play up' upon request and evaluation, but we do not allow participants to 'play down'.
3th - 4th Grade
5th - 6th Grade
7th - 8th Grade
High School
*Grade as of January 1st, 2026
GAME PLAY:
Jr. Pickleball is based on teams of 4 playing 2 versus 2 games to 11 - Best 2 of 3
LOCATION:
Del Norte Athletic Club - 3040 Becerra Way, Sacramento, CA 95821
GAMES TIMES:
SATURDAYS - 12 pm - 5 pm
(starting from the youngest age group up to the oldest age group)
PRACTICES & GAMES:
All practices and games are on the SAME DAY - This means just a 90-minute time commitment per week for our parents and families. Practice takes place 30-45 mins. before a participant's scheduled game time.
ITEMS INCLUDED:
All Registrations include Game Day Shirt/Jersey, Water Bottle, Player Bag, and Paddle!

REGISTRATION:
We are excited to offer an opportunity for FREE Registration!
There are TWO options for Registration
1. You can "Opt-In" to participate in our league fundraiser (nothing to sell, takes only 30 minutes). You will be charged $0 for your registration, and your fundraiser instructions will be emailed to you upon completion of your registration. You will only pay the difference of what is not raised. If you reach your goal, your registration will be 100% free.

2. You can "Opt-Out" and pay the normal Opt-Out/Registration fee.
The goal is to give every family the opportunity to reduce registration costs and possibly play for FREE.
More Information About Gratitude Sports Academy's Jr. Pickleball Program:
The Jr. Pickleball program goal is to teach the fundamentals, principles, and techniques of pickleball in a safe and encouraging environment.
Both male and female athletes are ALWAYS welcome in our programs!
We strive to keep the commitment to a minimum for parents. We are parents as well and know all too well the busy schedules with education, other sports, and family activities. Practices and Games will ALWAYS be on the same day, with practices one hour prior to game start time. Any practices scheduled outside of this time by coaches are not encouraged and are not mandatory for any participant.
